From what I remember there was also a time the church asked everyone to bring in their tapes of any old sermons or teachings to the church. It was explained that they did not need to be “out” there. But, at the time there were the DSS and the lawsuits, so looking back, it was to prevent any information being given to the other side. I believe that is the reason for the stopping of taking notes, so that there would be no evidence available. At that time you could not even talk much about the services outside of church.

Thank you, for taking time to read and comment. Are you familiar with the legal cases this group has been involved in over the years?
Your perspective from the early days intrigues me. As mentioned, my first contact was 1992.

What wackos! I knew Sam, Jane, A____ P______, all of them back in the 80’s and late 80’s. I knew them when they were all in Tulsa, plus early move to North Carolina. I even went to NC a few times for meetings. They all tried to get me to move there, but thank God I said No! so many times they finally quit calling.
I am a Christian, but a gay man also. I can not tell you how many times they tried to cast a homosexual demon out of me. It never worked. Everything is a devil to them. Poor folks. I am glad many people are waking up to the fact of their control. I know a female preacher in Oklahoma that back in the 80’s personally told Jane Whaley ” Jane you are not the Holy Ghost.” Another female preacher told her to stop all that groaning and travailing cause it was not the Holy Ghost. The groaning and travail turned into screaming. I hope everyone in WOFF wakes up and leaves those two wackos to their big house ( yes I have been there and even swam in their pool ) and saw Jane in her nightgown and curlers getting ready for the evening services.
