Jane does not celebrate July 4th, but yet, the church certainly evokes their rights that our forefathers fought for. The rights the church uses is their religious rights, so they can believe and do as they please because of that right. They have been able to defend their positions because of their religious rights. They make sure that everyone in the church utilizes all of the governmental funds fully: Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, Disability, Unemployment, Food Stamps, grants for college, and etc. I really believe that the majority of the members are on some type of governmental funding or assistance. So, God provides through the government, the way the church works. But, they do not recognize the federal holidays or the veterans. Yes, very hypocritical.

Jane does appear to think that she is above sin. Did she ever acknowledge ANY sin being in her? When she and Sam used to argue (heatedly) in front of others Jane always would say it was because of the systems in Sam and she HAD to confront “THEM’ So really didn’t she just want things HER way? I see nothng wrong with acknowledging “holidays” It is a time to reflect and be thankful for what GOD has done !!!!! I still don’t think birthdays are wrong. Just because Job mentioned the parties of his children on their “days”. But does it say anywhere to not celebrate birthdays? You know we can take ANYTHING and make it a sin or make it from GOD. Like having 40 acres+ a large home and clothes that would stretch 2 city blocks on only 600 hundred a month and not paying taxes on personal income or belongings- could be from THE LORD or is it just plain dishonesty?
