I enjoyed this post very much. And I agree wholeheartedly. You lose everything to join WOFF. The RIGHT to choose.When one decides to leave that cult ( unless you are related to Jane) there is no such thing as “the love of God”. I remember Jane saying that “if you don’t want to be here then I DON’T WANT YOU HERE”. I heard her say that several times from the pulpit, though it was not said to me personally. I was just told I was going to hell. I don’t think so. I know for a fact that leadership does try to get you to change your profession. This I know first hand. And alot of people go to school there to get degrees that are never used. Think about it. Go to school to get a teaching degree and then work in a doctor’s office as a PCT? And who pays for these degrees? The congregation helped put a few lawyers and at least one doctor thru school!!! REMEMBER?; the rent and food and tutition!!!! Hugs to you
