Yes, the facial hair revelation meeting ranks as one of the more sudden and bizarre events. Well, when men are practically running to the bathroom at the back of the sanctuary to shave, then, emerging clean shaven and being applauded as if they were now higher on the holiness ladder- who could forget that one….?
