The weddings are productions to protect and reflect JW’s wishes. Agree? I admit, at first I was impressed. As the years passed and knowing what I know NOW- I am NOT impressed in the least. Visitors can easily be impressed.

It just epitomized the lack of free will anyone had. Someone else chose your mate, attire, attendants, music, guests, food, and made it all about them, not about marrying couple.

So, it may be under his ordination and license that “they” marry people and also officiate at funerals. Because as you know at weddings, Jane, Sam, Robin and Frank, and others may speak and participate. But, Sam will preach some and also pray, so he is involved in the services in some way and he is ordained.
