Your point is taken… “Fleeing reality is what we were all doing. For various reasons. And for many the price has been incredibly high. We were all living a fantasy.” The sad part about it, some internalized the fantasy as their ONLY reality choice. The trauma after leaving can be intense as the process of tearing away the fantasy from reality begins for survivors. But, knowing the results of staying at WOFF, helping survivors in any way to adjust and make better choices is a worthy cause….

But every single adult person that has come to Spindale and stayed has 100% responsibility for their choices. Decisions are made continually. It was a choice, against common sense, to accept groaning, deliverance, blasting etc…No normal person seeing this or hearing this would consider this “the work of the holy spirit”. Fleeing reality is what we were all doing. For various reasons. And for many the price has been incredibly high. We were all living a fantasy. A very advanced roll playing game with an ever changing rule system. Playing out major psychological dramas in households on a daily basis. Rewards and punishments. The only devils around are the ones that we create ourselves.
