Thank you for taking time to read and comment on the post. You are so right. Since we were not given all the facts about events or situations; it was possible to tell a lie and not even know it. At a minimum, we would repeat a half-truth that we had been told.

Emotional and mental trauma is as bad as, and some consider them to be worse than, physical abuse, and it takes time to recover. The lying is such an interwoven part of life in a high demand group. Sometimes I didn’t even realize I was lying, I was so focused on simply adjusting and surviving.
